Everything Your Child Needs to Read, Write,
and Communicate with Confidence

Reading Comprehension

Fiction and Nonfiction passages at the right level for your child's grade. They learn to identify main ideas, make inferences, summarize texts, and support answers with evidence, skills that transfer directly into science, social studies, and every subject that requires reading.

Writing Skills

From sentence building and short writing prompts in early grades to structured paragraphs and creative writing exercises in later grades. Your child learns to organize ideas, develop arguments, and express themselves clearly and confidently on paper.

Grammar and Language

Sentence structure, punctuation, verb tenses, parts of speech, subject-verb agreement, practised every week and integrated into real reading and writing tasks, so grammar becomes automatic rather than a separate memorisation exercise.

Vocabulary
Development

New words taught in context through reading passages, not flashcard drills. Vocabulary is reviewed each week and reinforced through writing activities, building the precise, varied language your child needs to express ideas clearly.

Phonics
(Pre-K to Grade 2)

Early readers build the foundation: sound-letter relationships, reading fluency, word recognition, and sight words. Strong phonics in the early grades makes every skill that follows significantly easier to acquire.

Small-Group Classes: 2 to 3 Students Only

Brainster ELA runs with just 2 to 3 students per class — intimate enough for your child to ask questions, receive corrections, Not a classroom. Not a private lesson at a premium price. and participate actively in every session. Your class time and tutor remain fixed each week.

Native English-language Tutors

All Brainster English tutors are based in the US or Canada, hold atleast undergraduate degrees in English Literature from top universities, and are native English speakers with American accents. Your child learns the language from someone who uses it natively, not from a script.
