What is Brainster Learning?

Brainster Learning is an online tutoring programme for children in Grades K–10. We combine live sessions with a dedicated tutor, a structured IIT alumni designed curriculum, and printed workbooks shipped to your home, so your child gets real instruction, real practice, and real progress.

What subjects does Brainster offer?

Brainster learning offers two programs— Brainster Math and Brainster English.

Brainster Math is an online after-school math program for students from Kindergarten to Grade 10. Our goal is to help children develop strong math fluency so they can overcomethe fear of math and become as confident in it as their native language.

Brainster English is a structured, level-based program for students from Pre-K to Grade 8, designed to strengthen their reading, writing and comprehension skills. Each level is thoughtfully developed to match the child’s grade and ability, ensuring steady progress.

How quickly can my child start?

Your child can attend their free assessment within 48 hours of booking. Paid sessions begin immediately after enrolment.

Can my child do both Maths and English?

Yes, many Brainster families enroll their child in both programmes. Each has a dedicated tutor and its own personalized learning plan. You can start with one program and add the other at any time.

What about the quality of teachers?

All our tutors are based in the US and Canada and are graduates from top US and Canadian universities, with some even holding PhD’s.

What grades does Brainster English cover?

We offer a complete English program for students from Pre-K to Grade 6. Whether your child is just beginning to learn letters or developing advanced writing skills, we have tailored content for every stage of early learning.   

What topics are included in the curriculum?

How does the enrollment process work?

Enrollment begins with a brief questionnaire to determine your child’s skill level. Once the appropriate level is assigned, you complete the enrollment, the learning package is shipped, and classes commence.

How is the program structured?

The program is divided into levels, with each level taking about 4 months to complete. This allows enough time to master key concepts through a gradual, step-by-step approach that promotes long-term learning.

How often do students receive new materials?

Materials are shipped every 2 months, keeping the learning experience fresh and engaging. Each shipment includes a mix of reading passages, writing prompts, and interactive activities aligned with the level your child is working on.

Is this program designed for reading or writing?

Both! Brainster English builds a strong foundation in reading and develops confident writers through regular, structured practice. The two skills are closely connected in our program and taught side-by-side for better retention.

Can I see a sample of the curriculum before signing up?

Yes! We offer sample worksheets and curriculum previews directly on the Brainster English page. This gives you a clear picture of the material quality and structure before you enroll your child.

How is Brainster English different from other programs?

We offer a research-backed, hands-on approach focused on reading and writing growth—not just test prep. Our curriculum nurtures real-world communication skills while fostering a love for reading and creative expression.

How involved do parents need to be in the Brainster English program?

While our program is designed to be largely independent for students, especially from Grade 1 onward, we believe that occasional parent check-ins can reinforce learning. However, parental reliance is minimal—we provide clear, guided materials and structured weekly sessions that allow students to learn effectively on their own.

Who are the Brainster English tutors, and how are they trained?

All our tutors go through a rigorous hiring process, including subject assessments, teaching simulations, and background checks. Once selected, they receive specialized training in Brainster's structured reading and writing curriculum.

How is my child’s progress tracked?

We track progress weekly through classwork and homework. At the end of each level, students take a short test to ensure they’ve mastered the concepts before moving forward. Parents receive updates as needed.

How are teachers’ monitored ?

Our tutor sessions sessions are monitored regularly for quality and consistency, and they receive ongoing support and coaching to ensure every child is engaged and learning effectively.
